Well done to Labour Luton MPs Gavin Shuker and Kelvin Hopkins for voting against the Liberal Democrat / Conservative sell-off of 0ur national forests. There is massive opposition to the privatisation across the country.
Unfortunately, our local Conservative MPs choose to ignore their constituents (some Conservatives elsewhere, to their credit, voted to oppose the sale). Neither Richard Fuller nor Andrew Selous even bothered to vote on the issue.
The only positive to this is that, presumably, they don’t care much either way and might be persuaded to listen when the next vote takes place. If you’d like to write to them, you can find out more here http://saveourforests.co.uk/how-to-help/
